Winter Camp provides a full week of camp activities, games, teaching, and worship. There will also be plenty of time to hang out with friends around the campfire or in the activity/game room and camp store. To top it off, celebrate the arrival of the New Year in style with our big New Year’s Eve celebration!
Winter Camp welcomes youth groups as well as individuals who are looking for the full Ridge Haven camp experience. (The cost is cheaper for those that bring their own counselors!)
Youth Groups also have the option of Winter Retreat, which is designed for churches that prefer to lead their own worship times while also enjoying fun activities led by the Ridge Haven staff. Find out more.
Brevard Winter Camp Speaker 2024: TE Brian Ferry
Brian, Cheryl and their 3 girls: Meka, Eden, & Quinn, came to New City and moved to Oakley at the beginning of 2012; in the fall of 2021 they moved just down a few blocks down the street from the church building. Brian grew up in Cincinnati and married Cheryl when she moved here to work at Kroger headquarters. Brian went to Miami University concurrent with Pastor Josh, graduating with a B.A. in Speech Communication. He served as a pastor of student ministry and church musician for over 15 years, with a short stint at a camp and retreat center. He graduated with a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Cincinnati Bible Seminary and was ordained a teaching elder in the PCA in November of 2013.
Cono Winter Camp Speaker 2024: TE Josh Golackson
Josh and Lindsey moved back to Wisconsin in April, 2015 after serving as missionaries in China for nearly a decade. They have been married for 19 years and have 8 energetic children: Lily, Caedmon, Hadassah, Vivianna , Olivet, August, Porter, and Ryle. Lindsey grew up in Appleton and Josh is from Monroe. Josh and Lindsey met at UW-La Crosse, where they both got their undergrad in Communication Studies. Josh completed his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The Golacksons moved to Oshkosh in October 2016 and Living Stone Church began public worship services in October 2017. Josh and Lindsey love spending time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. Josh also loves fishing, sports, and reading. Lindsey loves running, reading, and DIY projects.
