Coming from the south or west via
I-85: At the
Georgia-South Carolina line take Exit 1. Do not go into
the Welcome Center but take the exit ramp to SC Hwy 11
(The Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy). SC 11 crosses back
over I-85 and heads north. Follow SC 11 for
approximately 47 miles to the 4-way-stop, blinking light
intersection at US 178. Turn left onto US 178 and follow
approximately 14.5 miles up the mountain to the Ridge
Haven turn-off. You will pass the Red Lion Inn (about 2 miles
before the turn-off). At the top of the uphill grade, just past
the Ridge Haven sign on the left, turn left almost 180 degrees
onto Road 1139, Old Toxaway Road. Follow the signs
approximately 4 miles to Frozen Creek Road.
Turn right onto Frozen Creek Road and look for the Ridge
Haven entrance on your right (approximately 500 yards).
Coming from Greenville, SC:
At Traveler’s Rest just north of Greenville, take US 276 to
SC 11 continuing North and West (The Cherokee Foothills
Scenic Hwy). Follow SC 11 to the 4-way-stop, blinking
light intersection, at US 178. Turn right onto US 178 and
follow approximately 14.5 miles up the mountain to the
Ridge Haven turn-off. You will pass the Red Lion Inn (about 2
miles before the turn-off). At the top of the uphill grade,
just past the Ridge Haven sign on the left, turn left almost 180
degrees onto Road 1139, Old Toxaway Road. Follow the
signs approximately 4 miles to Frozen Creek Road.

Coming from the west via US 64:
Follow US 64
going east from Highlands and Cashiers toward Brevard.
Approximately 7 miles beyond the community of Toxaway look
for the Ridge Haven sign, near the white-frame Victory Baptist
Church on the left and the blue M&M Grading building on the
right. Turn right at the sign onto Frozen Creek Road
and follow the road approximately 4.5 miles to the
entrance to Ridge Haven on the left.
Coming from the east or south via
I-26 to Hendersonville:
At exit 49-B, the Hendersonville exit, take US 64 west
through Hendersonville and through Brevard toward Rosman,
Toxaway, and Cashiers. Approximately 12 miles west of Brevard,
past US 178 (the Rosman turn-off on the left) and State Route
215 at Headwaters Outfitters on the right, look for the Ridge
Haven sign, near the white-frame Victory Baptist Church on the
right and the blue M&M Grading building on the left. Turn left
at the sign onto Frozen Creek Road and follow the road
approximately 4.5 miles to the entrance to Ridge Haven on
the left.
Coming from the east, north, or
west via I-40 and Asheville:
From Asheville take I-26 EAST
toward Hendersonville to exit 40, State Route 280, and the
Asheville Regional Airport exit. Take State Route 280
to Brevard and the intersection of US 64 west. Continue
straight through the intersection of State Road 280 and
US 64 west (do not turn). Take US 64 west through
Brevard toward Rosman, Toxaway, and Cashiers. Approximately 12
miles west of Brevard, past US 178 (the Rosman turn-off on the
left) and State Route 215 at Headwaters Outfitters on the right,
look for the Ridge Haven sign, near the white-frame Victory
Baptist Church on the right and the blue M&M Grading building on
the left. Turn left at the sign onto Frozen Creek Road
and follow the road approximately 4.5 miles to the
entrance to Ridge Haven on the left.
